Four Sundays of April: The Easter

The Christ. He risen
The Lord of Hosts, divine yet humanised and dwelt amongst us

He came as a babe, cold Christmas morning
The young boy lost but found in the Temple among scribes, teaching the Pentateuch
30 years he remained a Nazarene, learning the art of carpentry
At prime he withdrew to the desert for the Genesis of his public ministry
He went to his beloved cousin to be baptized, for righteousness sake
All through his three years he did good.
Not a faze but a ploy to save we deviants
Lo he went on just like us and we didn't fucking recognise him
He hid his glory and splendor in our human skin and ways and yet mighty works passed out from him
With his teachings and laying of hands and forgiving sins, yet he said we'll do more

All these yet in our humanity we saw as a threat, threat to public peace but he came to bring fire and sword
Even with the great works he did we refused to acknowledge Him
We sought all means to eliminate Him yet all futile
We condemned Him to the cross, to be crucified like a thief and set free a terrorist in his place
We cast lots for his clothes and divided his garments among us
All this we did our of ignorance, just to silence the voice
We gave Him grave with the wicked, a sepulchre with the rich
Even so we don't wallow in tears of the mistakes we did
Cos literally, we were conned into the salvation work
For He arose, body and soul in all divinity and glory, ascended into the heavens far beyond the clouds to sit in glory forever

So then what be it, the coming or the resurrection
This not an argument though, but I say the resurrection
Uworthy not to acknowledge that there's no going without a coming
Yet the essence of the resurrection surpassed that of coming
For him came with purpose, to lead all humanity back to the creator and give unto us victory over dark
This he did and more
Our trials and tribulations nailed with him to the cross and end to shackles of iniquity
We given access to bypass sin and death and transit to glory
And the full victory itself, life eternal with the Father, Son and Spirit unified.

To skip through limbo and Paradise and ascend to the highest heavens with him
To partake in his glory and singing holy to He sitted on the throne
To celebrate our rights as sons and heirs of heavenly thrones
To reject condemnation to perishment
To beat down damnation to laws of sin and death
To say no to the adversary and his whims
To say yes to the risen Lord
To dance in pride to our great status
To sing hallelujah everyday and night in praise of the risen Lord
To bellow in pride of our heavenly heritage
To accept our crosses with full assurance of his ever present aid
To live royalty life here in the Lord's footstool
To fellowship in the unbreakable Koinonia with the heavenly spirits
To receive the crown of life and palm branches with white robes come reckon day
To come out dripping in swag of grace
That even if we die we raise up
Everything old shall now become new

The essence of the Easter entails this and more
He was birthed to die and resurrect, all for the Ascension
Just for my salvation
And yours too
To the glory of God the Father.
