I'm Shallom III

The Smug Realm
Echoes of "I'm Shallom" boom through the realm, like a battle cry from high mountains to the valleys below.
"The Shallom has come. The prophecy is true. Our end is nigh" they cried as they wandered in confusion and panic.
The Smugs went berserk, in chaos and panic.
Their shrieks and wails sounded through the land.
The mountains shook, the badgers raged.
The valleys became clouded with mist and fog,
This was the apocalypse.
Meanwhile, the Sanctum called a meet with all Smug heads.
Skalak, The Smug Champion came also even though he was not invited.
"Champion this is a solemn meeting of all heads. Go, return to your abode and we will summon you." The Sanctum said.
"Profane Sanctum, Heads, I revere you. An emergency like this does not need courtesy call, less a formal invite.
I come here of my own accord, to give you a proposal." The Champion said.
"Champion, this is not place and time for your proposal. We shall decide when to call on you. Go off and return to your dwelling." The Sanctum ordered.
"I differ on that Sanctum. It is no secret, we all know what is going on. No Cowardice, we face this head on." The Champion said, defiantly.
"Profane Sanctum, the Champion had validity on this claim, besides we could improvise on the rules for the sake of the matter at hand." The Chief Smug head said.
"Thank you Chief. Now there are rumours, whispers per say. We have heard the tales under the moonlight from our mothers, we read the myths in book covens, the Preachers speak of it at sermons. Shallom is here, our end is nigh." The Champion pressed.
At this, there were whimpers of fear and exclamations from every single person present at the meeting.
"Yet, he is a child. We strike now. Take him before he assumes full power. We end him now, we end Shallom forever."
"What are you proposing, Champion." The Sanctum asked, sarcastically.
"What should be done, Sanctum. This is why we have The Champion. The surface dwellers have enjoyed centuries of peace because we let them. Ever since the previous Shallom killed our former Champion, my father, I have lived only to kill his incarnation. Shallom is here, he is back.
I will go and end him. I seek not your permission, I seek your thanks when I return with his Chani."

Abstract
So many comrades die before their actual death.
Some stars never shine their brightest lights,
Some ships never reach a port of call.
  - Sen. H. Mak.

Whatever the quote meant, Mak is an asshole.
But damn he is right.
Derus, 5 years old Shallom.
He had dreams nights before.
A man with a fire blazing sword and blonde hair, wearing a white cape on white skin suit, swinging the skies in huge leaps, closely followed by a woman, brunette, wearing a similar white skin suit, riding a mare, sliding the streets and cities in same harmony.
"I'm Shallom" felt like his on his lips, because it was his.
Arus, Borus and Corvus told Xeros and Mavinox the ordeal of the day at the park on the ride home.
Xeros and Mavinox stared at each other in horror, understanding the cause of whatever happened at the park.
Sighing in surrender, Xeros told his children the Legend of Shallom.
Shallom, a man with powers of the Lord Sabaoth.
He drunk of the Celestial Goblet of Akvavit.
He clutched the Akter, the sword of elven blade.
He marked Chani as his own, daughter of the Chief Smug, despite betrothed to the Smug Champion.
Their fight was catastrophic, shook the whole earth and split mountains in half.
The Shallom annihilated the Champion, who was no match for Celestial powers despite being a Demi god himself.
Shallom also fought the Smugs in their realm, almost wiping them out save for the intervention of the Lord Sabaoth.
The feud passed from Champion to Champion, to each incarnation of Shallom.
Derus, now is the incarnation and consequently, the Champion is lurking soon.
Xeros descended from loins of valorous men of the Heresus dynasty has knowledge of the sword.
Mavinox descends from diviners of Chrovorix.
Derus was to commence training immediately.

But, as fate, rather karma or some shii will have it, Derus took a nap on the ride home.
Derus never woke up.
He slept the infinity sleep and his soul ascended to the heavens.
He laid the Akter before the Lord Sabaoth, surrendered the Goblet of Akvavit and broke the bond with Chani.
These done, the incarnation of Shallom ended, forever.
Despite being a child, Derus saw the destructive power of Shallom, the arrogance and defiance it comes with.
Making a cheap choice, he ended his lineage.
Shallom has ended.
His family mourned his death and moved on.

Meanwhile, Skalak breached the surface world only 5 years later, greeted by the grave of Derus, the last Shallom.
He went back to the Smug Realm, yet disappointed for not having his fight, but satisfied with the end of Shallom.
The end.
